Ever found yourself living in and out of hotels! That’s my working life, finding yourself meeting some very interesting neighbours, and striking up some great conversations. This sadly, is not always the case though. One time just outside of Cordoba in Andalucía, Sothern Spain, I opened the door to my courtyard room for some last minute night air, and was confronted by an Iguana.
Relax, it was not a Komodo Dragon, but a 3 inch long reptile hiding by the warmth of the light bulb in the light fitting next to the door !
Nice little creature, in fact I owe him a pint. The picture was awarded “Finalist”, in a Spanish hotel chain magazine competition, (with 24 other images).
